Kramer is fun to watch play hockey. Old fashioned tough guy. Well, as tough as one can get in their league nowdays. He appears (?) on a pretty darned good local radio show, Patchin, Osso, and Lukens, weekly and is a natural with his personality.
The peanut butter jar is not a bad idea, actually.

does anyone care if the removal of the cheesecake factor gets rid of a bunch of adolescent wankers?
I for one would. I hate those idiots and their stupid comments while they stuff their faces with cheesecake. Look man, I'm just trying to enjoy a nice bite to eat with my wife and some friends. I don't need a bunch of teenagers wanking while I'm eating. But you don't need to remove the whole restaurant.

A bunch of Tebow fans in the Rocky Mountain area have probably already burst into flame today.....
I know. I'm making popcorn right now.

BTW, from the comments on the source article, this made me actually 'lol'. For real. I don't know how you could string together all those words in that order and not burst into flame or something:
thaibeau wrote:This is only happening because of Tebow's beliefs because if you look at the body of work Tebow is a far superior QB. Please do not throw Tebow away without giving him a chance to compete against Manning.
That's good.

A homer chimes in:
This is actually a pretty good deal for Seattle. Baldwin was a good offensive weapon and a complete surprise for Seattle last year and McCoy and Morrah are serviceable tight ends. The loss of Carlson is a problem but he seemed to be lost in the system last year. Fingers crossed that Rice actually plays a whole season. Plus, by all accounts, Marshawn Lynch will (hopefully) maintain his production and take some pressure off of the starting QB whether it be Jackson or Flynn. Add to the mix that Seattle's young offensive line should steadily improve and there just might be an offense to go along with the solid defense Seattle had last year. And for the contract they are reporting Seattle isn't really on the hook if Flynn doesn't pan out.
Now if we can just convince Manning that Denver or Tennessee is the place to be............................................

Manning will play for the Seahawks next year because he loves coffee, king salmon, huckelberries, and Space Needles.
FACT!

If you work in the communications industry and you fail to see that using a headline like that could be found the least bit offensive then perhaps you should seek a different profession.
Plus also too:
If that very same phrase has been used by ESPN 3,000 times then maybe it's time to stop being so derivative.

Just to throw this out there:
The discussion doesn't necessarily center around which QB is better but if Eli is HOF worthy. I am not thinking of how QB's (or players) compare. From what I saw in the post season, Eli was the better player.
Peyton and Eli should both be HOF'ers.

Aaron Rodgers. Drew Brees. Tom Brady.
Fat lot of good they did in the finality and end of the season. All are great QB's but that doesn't mean Eli isn't a HOF'er.
Sometimes sports fans get too caught up in stats when the only stat they should look at is championships. Eli has two in five years. And he was named the MVP both times. The regular season is a means to an end. Success in the post season is the thing that matters the most.
Now of course there is a good argument for players who lead their team to success during the regular season and maybe not so much in the post season being a HOF'er. Peyton for one. And one of this year's inductees, Cortez Kennedy for another. But my personal criteria would be a player that makes his team great and transcends the typical player at his position. Eli fits the mold.

graymatters-
I'm just sayin', but that is what SF is about. Otherwise it would be box scores and chat threads. I look at this as a forum to express an opinion about matters having to do with sports. Even if they are somewhat tangential. Sometimes we find an opinion that runs contrary to what the majority agrees with. If you agree with Tyree go ahead and voice your opinion. Or disagree. Or whatever. Maybe we define this page's purpose differently. But raging against the machine seems to have little point.
Unless your point is anarchy. Then, like Emily Litella, never mind.
My opinion is that Tyree's opinion is barely a blip on my consciousness.
