Daniel ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger accused of fraud by SEC in sports drink case: Joliet native Daniel Ruettiger gained fame as the underdog — the undersized kid who made it onto the University of Notre Dame football team and inspired the 1993 movie, “Rudy.” And more recently, when Ruettiger’s “Rudy” soft drink failed to compete with the big boys in the sports drink industry, Ruettiger also didn’t give up, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said.

Chris Paul trade closes curtain on ugly business of running NBA: At one point during the NBA's latest foray into an alternate universe -- and hopefully the last for a while -- David Stern said something about not wanting to get into all the gory details of "how the sausage was made."

Miami Marlins, Jose Reyes agree to terms on six-year, $102M deal: Move over (to third base), Hanley Ramirez. As long as he passes a routine physical, Jose Reyes will become the Marlins’ new shortstop. Losing Jose Reyes hurts the Mets, but not as much as what is to come.

An angry sportswriter's King James Bible: Just over a year ago, ESPN aired The Decision, that ill-fated hour-long special in which NBA star LeBron James bailed on his seven-year professional relationship with the Cleveland Cavaliers. For lifelong Cleveland fan Scott Raab, that moment was personal.

Mo always wanted to play in the outfield and from what the Yanks have to say, he's actually pretty good out there. Mo has even requested to Girardi to put him in the outfield one time before he calls it a career.
I'm a Mets fan and dispise the Yanks but this is tough. #42 is one of my favorite players.

NJ, where I was born and lived for over 30 years, continues to be seriously corrupt. And in such ridiculous ways too.
I was born & raised in NJ and lived there up until 3 years ago when I decided to move because of the obvious negative changes that gradually took a chokehold of the Garden State. The violence & corruption has completely gotten out of hand and I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel which is such a shame.

For Christmas that year, I got this poster..
I got that poster from my uncle who was a huge Mets fan and turned me into one as well. I was nine years old during the 86' WS and still have that poster in my garage.

Was that the point of the excercise?
Mental masturbation, pure and simple. That's not a problem is it?
Not unless you suffer from premature imagination.

Think about it. There are folks in Africa who get AIDS without even being gay. Yet here Jesus is, helping me & Tebow out in sports, just because we're maybe a little bit cooler in his eyes. It's a raw deal, plain and simple. Even though he's hooking me up, I still see it's kind of a cocksucker move on Jesus's part.
Classic!

Lance Armstrong
Too easy. Mark Cavendish, any sprint.
My bad. I meant the Lance Armstrong with one nut.

Eli is on track to becoming a Hall of Famer but he's not there as of yet. Give him some time though.
